Salt climate course
The AREC salt climate course is a comfortable 20-session programme in a dry salt aerosol room. It is a complementary, wellness-type service: it supports respiratory comfort but does not replace medical treatment.
How does a session work?
Climate and settling
The device generates the salt climate, which then settles for about 15 minutes so that larger particles drop out. Only then do guests enter the room.
Calm breathing
You sit in a comfortable armchair and breathe normally. For sinus complaints we suggest breathing through the nose. You can read or chat; children draw or play.
The course
One course is 20 sessions. After the introductory sessions adults spend 40–60 minutes and children 25–40 minutes in the room, depending on age and complaints.
One request: we ask adults not to fall asleep during the session, because we breathe in less air, and so less salt aerosol, while asleep.
Who is it for?
- People looking for a drug-free complement to support their respiratory comfort.
- During allergy season and the smoggy heating months.
- After frequent colds, during recovery – after checking with a doctor.
- Anyone who simply wants a quiet, restful hour in their week.
When not to use it
With fever or an acute infection, during an acute asthma attack, with severe heart or lung disease, or active tuberculosis. With a chronic illness, during pregnancy or for small children, please talk to your doctor first. Never stop prescribed medication without medical advice.
Where can you take a course?
You can take a course in the AREC climate room at the Béke Gyógyszálló spa hotel in Hajdúszoboszló, and our partners across Hungary work with AREC equipment. Contact us for an appointment and the nearest location.
